We're frequently asked, "Should I seal my Chicago Style Brick?"
Our answer is almost always, "Yes, absolutely".
Of course, there are always exceptions. Generally, those who want the most natural appearance (algae, moss, weathering, etc.), or those who have concerns for the historical integrity of whatever building/street their recycled bricks came from. ( Most brick is made new in the old style, and of the brick that is recycled, very little has any known historical source).
For the remaining 90% of "Chicago Style" brick owners the choice seems fairly clear cut.
A worn, dull, chalky looking paver surface, susceptible to all kinds of mold, mildew, algae, fungus, oil, grease, rust, hard water, lime, and other stains.
OR...
A clean, well protected surface that enhances the natural colors of the brick, while mitigating the damaging toll that nature and everyday life take on your pavers.
We provide a complete service for traditional/Chicago style brick paver surfaces in Natural, Matte, Satin, and High Gloss finishes.
How can we help you?
